101 in 1001

I have read a lot of blogs lately talking about doing 101 things in 1001 days.  It’s a way of creating long term goals and sticking to them.  You can read more about it here.  I thought it seemed like an intriguing idea so I am going to attempt my own.  Now there are many reasons I haven’t filled in the entire list and I realize many people might tell me this defeats the purpose. However, I am starting a graduate program in the fall and have no idea what my time constraints may be so I am going to leave some of the list blank so I don’t end up with ridiculous goals that I could never hope to achieve.

I will be starting my 1001 days on Wednesday, July 1, 2009.  This puts my end date on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.  (I used this handy calculator found here if you need one!)

I will be filling you in on the progress once a month and we’ll see how it goes 🙂 Let me know in the comments if you have ever done one of these or hope to in the future!
